SurvivorVision® relies on strong partnerships with businesses, nonprofit and foundation leaders to carry out our mission through programming, advocacy and education. We cannot achieve all that we do without these partners!
Make great wine that imparts the resilience and unbreakable spirit of our family and provides our partner nonprofit organizations with the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by disabilities.
Enable the missions of nonprofits worldwide that focus on improving the lives of children and adults impacted by disabilities.
We believe in each child’s right to live his or her life to the fullest and achieve his or her full potential. We are compelled by our faith to help our fellow man during times of extreme need. We vow to be faithful stewards of all monies raised, and promise to respect individual donors’ requests pertaining to use of their funds. We commit to being partners in everything we do. We commit to acting ethically and adhering to the lawful distribution of wine while creating the best possible product to support the missions of our nonprofit partners.
I will never forget the day my mom told me she had breast cancer. When I heard the news I held back tears, and tried to sound calm. I knew that I needed to be brave for my Mom. She was trying to be brave for me and my sister, as she didn’t want us to worry. We were trying to be brave for her. Out of this process, Bravelets™ was born.
I wanted to make something that my sister, my mom, my dad and I could all wear in the weeks leading up to her Mastectomy – a symbol that we could all look at and remember to be brave.
There are times in all of our lives where we need to be brave – whether for ourselves, for our family, for our friends, or even for a complete stranger. Bravelets™ bracelets are more than just something to wear on your wrist. They are a symbol of hope, strength and courage. They are designed to help you be brave in the toughest of times.
WHY THE TRIANGLE?
The triangle is the strongest geometric shape. Bravelets™ bracelets are worn to help you be strong and brave in tough situations. Therefore, Bravelets™ and triangles are a perfect pair. The triangle is incorporated not only in the Bravelets logo, but also in every item’s single design. Plain and simple, the triangle represents strength, just like Bravelets™.
OUR GIVING UPFRONT AND HONEST
Bravelets™ is not a non-profit organization. We are a for-profit company with giving at our core. We believe in transparency. We believe in making a difference. We don’t believe in the phrase “a portion of proceeds will be donated….”. What does that mean? What portion, what proceeds? That kind of giving is confusing and unfulfilling to the customer. Our giving is clear, transparent, and easy to understand. When buying a product from Bravelets, you always know the exact amount being donated, and exactly where it is going. We want you to be confident in your purchase, and proud to have made a difference.
We recognize SurvivorVision's Textbook Scholarships for survivors attending colleges and their unique programs created to touch survivors all over the country. We have pledged to donate 5% of our sales dollars to support this cause! Your support of Lagana Cellars means support for survivors of childhood cancers!
Beads of Courage® entered a creative partnership with SurvivorVision in 2010 to create the Day + 100 bead . This bead has been utilized by all supporting BOC member hospitals providing care for pediatric bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplants. In 2014, 3500 Beads were distributed among 26 transplant centers.
