It is estimated that one in 250 young adults will be a survivor of childhood cancer by 2010. Consequently, attention to quality of life for this growing population is of great concern. Log onto the CureSearch website to review the survivorship guidelines. You might even want to print them and take them to your primary care provider as an outline for your plan of care for future provider visits. This website offers downloads for many specific health issues, such as single kidney health, emotional health and hearing loss.
