About Us

In the United States nearly 20,000 children under the age of 21 receive a diagnosis of cancer each year.  Thanks to the amazing strides made in medical research, more than 15,000 of these patients enter the world of being “CURED” each year. While survivors of pediatric cancer are forever grateful for a second chance at life, living as a survivor comes with a price. The “CURE” has unwelcome “stowaways,” one or multiple side effects, some of which may not appear for years after treatment. These side effects include issues related to growth, heart, fertility; thyroid, and secondary cancers, and can which can cause problems in school or work. Despite early strides in research and treatment focused on curing pediatric cancer, thousands of children and adolescents undoubtedly traded one disease for another.  As a result, programs that helped survivors lead a healthy and better life, were not available.

SurvivorVision was founded to help these individuals find their voice.
